Giving Thanks

It was a busy day yesterday with the preparations for the Thanksgiving meal. In the midst of all that, I was thinking about why we had invited some people over to celebrate, which was to give thanks to God. As I contemplated that, I looked out in the yard, and gave thanks for all the things that flower and fruit at this time of year. So I went out to capture in photos some the blooming and fruiting things in our yard. So as not to show any bias, I have them in order of species name.

I'm also grateful to live in a place where we can enjoy all these at this time of year.
